KAFFI-LS Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol & Guaiphenesin Syrup is a combination expectorant medication formulated to provide effective relief from cough, chest congestion, and breathing difficulties, particularly in conditions where mucus production is prominent.
Composition (per 5 ml):
Levosalbutamol: 1 mg
Ambroxol Hydrochloride: 30 mg
Guaiphenesin: 50 mg
Mechanism of Action:
Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator. It relaxes the muscles in the airways, widens the bronchial tubes, and makes breathing easier, especially in obstructive airway conditions.
Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent. It breaks down and thins thick, sticky mucus, making it easier to expel from the respiratory tract and helping to clear the airways.
Guaiphenesin is an expectorant. It increases the water content of mucus, reduces its stickiness, and facilitates its removal from the airways.

Relief from a productive (wet) cough associated with respiratory tract infections
