This combination is designed to provide effective relief from pain and inflammation, particularly where muscle spasms are also present.
1. Product Description:
Composition: Each tablet contains Etoricoxib 60 mg (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, NSAID) and Thiocolchicoside 4 mg (a muscle relaxant).
2. Indications: Used for the treatment of:
Osteoarthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis
Gouty arthritis
Ankylosing spondylitis
Acute pain
Chronic low back pain
Muscle spasms and other musculoskeletal conditions where pain and muscle stiffness are present.
3. Mechanism of Action:
Etoricoxib works by blocking the cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme, which reduces the production of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation.
